Best Friends Forever?

We have produced our very first comedy genre project, a proof of concept for our original feature film, Winnie & Jenay’s Cross Cuntry Adventure. This is a film about two best friends turned enemies as they take a crazy road trip to attend their 20 year high school reunion. The proof of concept, along with the feature film, was made in a very DIY style, with just the help from my production company, and local crew from Arizona, such as Arizonan cinematographer Kosi Oshodi-Glover, starring up and coming talent, Toni Nezey and Alex Campos. At its core, WJCCA is a comedy about friendship, reconciliation, finding oneself and celebrating body diversity, themes that I want to showcase through the lens of Black & Afro Latina millennial women.
